Functions of an Blood Cells

A blood cell plays a very important part in

your body. It carries oxygen through your body and gets rid of carbon dioxide.
Blood cells start their rotation in the lungs, from there they take the oxygen
and carry it to the heart, this pumps the blood and keeps your heart beating and
lungs breathing. Blood cells are shaped in a circle with a slimmer middle and a
fatter outside; they are red and are very small that you can only see them with
a microscope. Blood cells are made inside your bones and live up to one hundred
days.
The structure of erythrocytes of birds is outlined. Unlike the situation in most
mammals, avian erythrocytes have nuclei. Consideration is given to
erythrocyte transcription, lifespan, production including the role of the
stimulatory hormone—avian erythropoietin, metabolism, and number.
