A good man is hard to find

At the beginning of the story, we are introduced to the Bailey family where the grandmother wants
to run things. At the same time, the reader learns about Misfit, who is on the run. The grandmother
is a person who lives in the past and is a rather selfish person.Perhaps this is one of the reasons why
she finally led her family to death. She is not suitable for family, just as Misfit is not suitable for society.
It was the actions of the grandmother that caused the accident, which led to their encounter with Misfit.
Misfit's accomplices executed their family members. Finally, grandma is still alive. Although they all
think that they have not actually done anything wrong. However, Misfit knew he was not a saint. In the
last moments of her life, grandmother tried to save her own life, and I think all of us are doing the same
thing. Of course, this did not impress Misfit, he killed his grandmother. It is quite difficult to understand
the true meaning of the story. Maybe there is no good or bad in the story, it just happened. Or maybe the
grandmother who led a false life was punished for her actions. The family members are only collateral
damages of Misfit.

Lottery

This is not a simple story, because I have been searching for its meaning until the end of the story. It
shows a community as if they live in a different world. This society follows a stupid tradition that leads
to murder. This story is similar to ancient society. People believed in the importance of living sacrifices
because they believed that a certain event could bring a good harvest in the future. The title and the
ending of the story are a big contradiction, because I think someone will become a millionaire, but my
expectations have not been fulfilled. In this society, people behave as if they have accepted the lottery,
and don't care about anyone's death. The only person who thinks this is an unfair process is Tess, but
on the other hand, if we are to talk about the habits of this society, the game itself is very clear, because
she chose according to the rules of the village.

The Great Gatsby

This story is about the American Dream. It happened after the First World War, and we saw how
everyone worked hard to climb higher and higher on the shoulders of the people in the slums under the
harsh conditions of Ash Valley. Those who climb higher are portrayed as corrupt people. The only
person without scary characters is the protagonist. We look at Nick and Gatsby from his perspective.
Although we know that even Gatsby managed to obtain wealth through improper means, he does not
seem to show the corruption of others. But he is not the true hero of the story, his desire for Daisy is
unhealthy, unnatural on the edge. One might say that the greed for the position is closer than the desire
for the one he loves. In the end, the worst Gatsby was killed. This symbolizes the author's belief that this
is the end of the original American dream.

William Faulkner-Dry September

The story of "Dry September" took place in a dry September in Jefferson, Mississippi. The starting point
of the story is the rumor about the black Will Meyers raping the white woman Minnie Cooper. Although
this rumor has no basis, it quickly spread throughout the town. Only Minnie Cooper's words were
problematic. A group of angry white men went to Wilmes to avenge him, and he seemed confused when
facing these people. Unfortunately, Will Mayes was killed only because he was black and allegedly
raped a white woman, but this has not actually been confirmed or confirmed. This story is a critique of
the southern United States, because it describes an example that happened many times in real life,
when white people murdered black people for no reason or just because they were prejudiced against
black people. This is the true description of the South at that time.

Rose for Emily

The story takes place in Jefferson, Mississippi, and the protagonist is Emily, who represents the former
aristocracy of the South. She became the last member of the social group in Jefferson Town. She
experienced a great tragedy. He lost her father and family property. The darkness is that she never
buried her father, but kept his body until her death, and she also poisoned Homer, the Jenki from the
north, and kept him for herself. She lives a life that only exists in her mind, and she cannot leave the
past behind. She has never been able to lead an independent life, so she has symptoms of
schizophrenia. In fact, she became isolated and helpless after losing her father. This feeling of isolation
caused anxiety and loneliness. She proved that she has been living in the shadow of the past, afraid of
changing her life. The main message of this story is that we should let go of the past and move towards
a brighter future
