How can internal threats be prevented? The best way to prevent both internal
security threats and careless mistakes is to make sure that you know about the dangers
or consequences that you may face so that is you will have the decision to do such
things whether good or bad but off course you will choose the good side. In addition,
simply keeping people away from your internal life, telling secret is good but not always
because there is some situation telling Secrets to someone else will cause a negative
effect in your life if it those secrets are important.
What support can you give to prevent internal and external threats? As far as
external threats, Payne suggests straightforward measures that all employees should
take while working from home, including updating your software immediately and
frequently, back up your data, keep anti malware protection up to speed, then turn on
two factor authentication everywhere it's available and also be aware of phishing scams.
There are 6 malware that really affects us globally. The first one is "virus": [1]
Virus is the mostly common malware that we always experience now because virus is a
kind of malware that will damage your computer or any gadgets and devices by
corrupting data, reforming your hard disk, or completely shutting down your system.
They can also be used to steal information, harm computers and networks, create
botnets, steal money, render advertisements and more. [2] Worm: Worm is one of the
most common types of malwares, worms spread all over your computer networks by
exploiting operating system vulnerabilities. A worm is a standalone program that
replicates itself to infect other computers, without requiring action from anyone.[3]
Trojan Horse: A trojan horse or trojan is a type of malware that is often disguised as
legitimate software. Trojans can be employed by cyber thieves and hackers trying to
gain access to user's systems. Users are typically tricked by some form of social
engineering into loading executing trojans on their systems.[4] Spyware: Spyware
describes software with malicious behavior that aims to gather information about a
person or organization and send such information to another entity in a way that harms
the user for example, by violating their privacy or endangering their device's security.
This behavior may be present in malware as well as in legitimate software. Websites
may also engage in spyware behaviors like web tracking. Hardware devices may also
be affected. Spyware is frequently associated with advertising and involves many of the
same issues.[5] Adware is often known for being an aggressive advertising software
that puts unwanted advertising on your computer screen. Malicious adware can collect
data on you, redirect you to advertising sites, and change your internet browser
settings, your default browser and search settings, and your homepage. You typically
pick up adware through a browser vulnerability. Legitimate adware does exist, but it will
ask your permission first before collecting data about you. [6] Ransomware:
Ransomware is a type of malware that holds your data captive and demands payment
to release the data back to you. It restricts user access to the computer by either
encrypting files on the hard drive or locking down the system and displaying messages
that are intended to force the user to pay the attacker to release the restrictions and
regain access to the computer. Once the attacker is paid, your system and data will
usually go back to its original state.
These 6 most common types of malwares were really affects us globally
because this was all types of viruses that has a huge impact to our life and why does all
of these affect us? Such as because we are in the generation of advanced technology
which we have a lot of devices and this all devices is our daily life without this our world
will be nothing and human life will failing.
