From my experience, globalization has led to an improvement in

our way of living since globalization is the process of spreading ideas,

information, knowledge, products and services all around the world.
Aside from it benefits the country’s economy, one good example is that it
makes communication a lot faster and easier to people from different
parts of the world with the invention of internet, electronic devices that
we use daily, and other digital technologies. With that, it opens a lot of
opportunities in certain situations such as it makes online class possible
since currently, we are in the middle of pandemic and face to face classes
are still not possible. In addition, the products and services that we are
using today especially those that are made from other countries that
increases our productivity is another good example of globalization
improving our daily lives.
However, there are times that I realized that globalization is too
much and that led to negative consequences such as it slowly destroying
our environment as time goes by. For example, deforestation which is
the process of clearing a wide area of trees to build houses and buildings
and eventually it will affect and worsen climate change. Also, having
easier and faster transportation due to increasing globalization which
makes people want to travel from different parts of the world makes us
more vulnerable to contagious and infectious diseases or viruses such as
this Covid-19 which is spreading rapidly. These are some of the
disadvantages of globalization that I noticed in today’s world.
To summarize, globalization has advantages and disadvantages to
consider. Based on my experience, I can say that globalization makes my
life easier and better since it increases my productivity that helped me
accomplish more things in my life.
