3. Liên từ chỉ lí do

Eg: As it rained, we came late.

4. Liên từ chỉ mục đích

5. Liên từ chỉ điều kiện

If Unless As long as Encase ( incase )

Providing (that) Supposed (that) So long as .....

6. Liên từ đối lập

Whereas While
Eg: He is short, whereas you are tall

II. Liên từ kép

1. Both.. and... 3. Neither.......nor......

Eg: He is both eating and drinking. Eg: She has neither a husband nor
children
2. Either....or...... Neither we nor John has money

Eg: Either you or he has to come 4. Not only...... but also.......
