PRIMARY RESEARCH FINDINGS

Findings

The results of the survey conducted in this segment are consist of 4 outstanding figures to outline the
preferred materials, styles and the tendency of ratepayers on buying local brands.

Figure 1: Reasons for choosing local brands

Figure number 1, described the scale from 1 to 5 (low to high) of 5 different aspects for choosing local
brands of HANU students: low price, good look, good quality, well styled and friends also use local
brands. The “well styled” feature have the most chosen point of 4, indicate that the design of products is
pretty good. However, the “good quality” item mostly have average points (3), 36 over 102 ratepayers.
That means the prominence of wearing pieces is the feature that need to be focus on to improve.

Looking at the second figure, it can be seen that the three leading types of clothing are shirt, tee (t-shirt)
and pants with 73, 61 and 50 votes respectively
