• Stop lathe before taking measurements


• Do not wear gloves, rings, watches or loose clothing.
• Never directly touch moving parts.
• Do not make adjustments while the machine is operating.
• Do not use calipers on a work piece while the machine is moving.
• Ensure all switches, wires, and plugs are in good condition.
• Stop the machine before taking ANY measurements.
• Students are NOT ALLOWED to teach other students in the use of the lathe!
