    Indicates an imminently hazardous situation which, if

    it is not avoided, WILL result in death or serious


    injury.

    Indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if it


    is not avoided, COULD result in death or serious
    injury.

    Indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if it


    is not avoided, MAY result in moderate injury. It may
    also be used to alert against unsafe practices.

    This symbol is used to alert the user to useful


    information about proper operation of the machine.

    OWNER’S MANUAL. Read and understand this owner’s manual BEFORE using the machine.

    • Stop lathe before taking measurements


    • Do not wear gloves, rings, watches or loose clothing.
    • Never directly touch moving parts.
    • Do not make adjustments while the machine is operating.
    • Do not use calipers on a work piece while the machine is moving.
    • Ensure all switches, wires, and plugs are in good condition.
    • Stop the machine before taking ANY measurements.
    • Students are NOT ALLOWED to teach other students in the use of the lathe!
