Nativity of Jesus Christ.

KING HEROD - he initiated a murder of all the infants in Bethlehem in an attempt to get rid of the baby
Jesus.

JERUSALEM - Jerusalem is also the place where Jesus preached, died and was resurrected.

WISE MEN - Magi, singular Magus, also called Wise Men, in Christian tradition, the noble pilgrims “from
the East” who followed a miraculous guiding star to Bethlehem, where they paid homage to the infant
Jesus as king of the Jews (Matthew 2:1–12)

ARCHELAUS - Herod Archelaus, son and principal heir of Herod I the Great as king of Judea. Archelaus is
mentioned in the Gospel of Matthew (chapter 2 verse 13–23). An angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph
in a dream and told him to get up and take Mary and Jesus and flee to Egypt to avoid the Massacre of
the Innocents.

GALILEE - According to the Bible, Galilee was named by the Israelites and was the tribal region of
Naphthali and Dan, at times overlapping the Tribe of Asher's land. And Jesus went about all Galilee
teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of
sickness and all manner of disease among the people

NAZARETH - According to the Gospel of Matthew, Joseph and Mary resettled in Nazareth after returning
from the flight from Bethlehem to Egypt.

JOHN THE BAPTIST – who baptized Jesus in Jordan

BAPTIZE - Baptism is the Christian spiritual rite of sprinkling water on to a person's forehead or of
immersing them in water; this act symbolises purification or renewal and admission in to the Christian
Church. Baptism is a symbol of our commitment to God.
ISRAEL - The name "Israel" first appears in the Hebrew Bible as the name given by God to the patriarch
Jacob (Genesis 32:28). Deriving from the name "Israel", other designations that came to be associated
with the Jewish people have included the "Children of Israel" or "Israelite".

THREE TEMPTATIONS OF JESUS - The temptations were hedonism (hunger/satisfaction), egoism


(spectacular throw/might) and materialism (kingdoms/wealth). John the Evangelist in his epistle calls
these temptations "in world" as "lust of eyes" (materialism), "lust of body" (hedonism) and "pride of
life" (egoism).

temptation will held. Ask for guidance from God to help me avoid those things
