EXERCISE 2 CAN - COULD

El verbo can es un verbo modal que usamos para hablar de que algo y alguien tiene la
habilidad para hacer algo, por ejemplo:

 She can sing.


Ella puede cantar.
 He can run very fast.
Él puede correr muy rápido.

Pero también lo usamos para pedir o dar permiso, por ejemplo:

 Can I ask you a favor?


¿Puedo pedirte un favor?
 You can eat grapes if you want.
Si lo deseas, puedes comer uvas.

Por otro lado, usamos could para expresar que algo es posible o la probabilidad de que
algo suceda.

 It could be nice.
Podría ser agradable.
 You could travel.
Podrías viajar.

O para pedir permiso de una manera más amable y formal que como se haría con can:

 Could you help me?


¿Podrías ayudarme?
 Could I have a talk with you?
¿Puedo charlar contigo?
