Let me begin by sharing the lyrics from one of my favorite songs.

‘Cause these words are knives that

often leave scars, the fear of falling apart. Hi! Hello! I am Ann Krizelle Miclat, and I will tell you just how
impactful words can be in my journey as an Angelite. The lyrics that I have shared with you are pretty
harsh and negative for what I am about to share but they are there to remind us that words can be just
as powerful as actions. I have been an Angelite for close to 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 years now and during this
pandemic, it has been hard to not feel lonely and hopeless. But, because we have different sharings
about the word of God, it has helped me realized that it only takes a word, a phrase, a sentence to make
us reflect and realize. It only takes a word to make us feel like we are being given a warm hug to soothe
our loneliness away. Instead of words that are like knives, I have received words of comfort, care, and
love from God through my classmates.

Aside from comforting words, I have also received valuable lessons that I can carry for a lifetime. I have
learned that spirituality is not just being physically involved in religious practices, but it is also heavily
nurtured by how we let the teachings of God lead us through our lives. It is enriched in the way that we
treat one another as God’s children. I have also learned that there are angels always looking out for our
well-being. A force does always not have to be visible for us to have faith and that brings me great
comfort in my daily life.

Overall, if there was one thing that had eased the loneliness and hardships of this pandemic, it is the
interactions that I’ve had with my classmates and their words of comfort, care, and love brought to us
by God. I have been blessed to be able to continue my studies when others did not have the chance to
do so. And for that, I am grateful that I have learned these lessons with immeasurable value so that I
could apply them to my life. That is my story of hope and joy as an Angelite so far. Now let us hear your
story.
