Learnings/ Realizations
Through the sharing of Ms. Francheska, I was able to realize that there are many
struggles that a person may face at any given time, whether you are young or old. In a way, these
challenges and problems are there to make us stronger. They are there to remind us that we are
not alone, and that God is there alongside us to help. Despite achieving her dreams, she has no
stopped nurturing her spirituality and continually serves the Lord. She also does not forget to
give thanks for the blessings that she has received.
Ms. Francheska was a great example of someone who is enjoying their career but at the
same time has not forgotten the Lord. I also want to be like this when I have achieved my
dreams for, I know that my success is not from my hard work alone but also from God’s will,
blessings, and graciousness. Oftentimes, I encounter hurdles in my studies but a bible verse in
the talk struck me. It is Jeremiah 9:11 which reads “For I know the plans I have for you, declares
the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. This
is sure a verse that will keep you grounded and persevering for your dreams. The verse, Mark
11:24 also spoke to me as during these times I really am having a hard time catching up with the
lessons we have in our accounting subjects. It gave me strength because I know God hears my
prayers and He will answer them.
I have talked about my ongoing journey to my dreams and now I would like to share how
I could keep building my faith and spirituality when I have finally reached my dreams and have
a successful career. I have learned that I should always be thankful to God whatever it is I am
given, whether good or bad times because true success only comes when I have given myself to
Him. True success only comes when I am content and happy with all that I have, no matter how
simple.
