9 years-old boy presented to Pediatrics clinic with nose bleeding(epistaxis) and
complained of increased skin discoloration over (bruising )over the last month. The
pediatrician asked for CBC blood test and the results were as follows:
• WBC: 6500/μL (4000-11,000/μL)
• Hemoglobin: 14.5 g/dL (13.5-17.5 g/dL)
• Platelets: 44,000/μL (150,000- 400,000/μL)
