What’s More
1. Cybercrime has become a major problem for the 21 st century, in relation to both
prevention and detection of the growing number of associated activities.
Cybercrime has not created new crimes, simply provided an alternative method
through which to commit crimes such as theft, extortion, illegal protest, and terrorism.
2. The Internet has made life a lot easier by making information more accessible to all
and creating connections with different people around the world. However, it has also
led a lot of people to spend too much time in front of the computer, so much so that it
becomes the center of their lives. This can lead to an Internet or computer addiction.
What I can do
1. As a student, how can you help combat cyberbullying? write your answer below

As a student, take action if you or someone you know is being bullied. Simply standing
by and doing nothing can embolden an abuser. The best thing you can do is try to put
an end to the bullying by standing up to it. Support the person who is being bullied if you
can't stop it. If it's a friend, you can listen and see what you can do to help. Consider
whether you should report the bullying as a group. Even a kind word, if you're not
already friends, can help ease the agony. At the very least, assist by not sending a
hurtful message and avoiding giving positive attention to the bully.
