Assignment

The Kentucky manager should have the participative leadership style, that involves soliciting
input from empowered employees, listening to that input, and acting on it. Because it is said that they
put trust on their employees with their performance and the manager just accepting whatever the
employees’ recommendations without weighing what can be the good and bad result. I think the
manager should not just consider the employees suggestions, but to try working together by engaging
with the decision making. It can be done by a group discussion where leader facilitates a discussion
about the issue at hand or the decision that needs to be made. The group shares ideas about how to
solve the problem and also all members of the organization implement the decision to see what is better
to do and not to have regrets in the future.
