Standard Terminal Designation
 The terminal blocks used in junction boxes and cubicles are of screw type design and of the
following two types:
 URTK / S-BEN (Maximum current rating : 57 A)
 MTK-P/P or UK 5-MTK-P/P (Maximum current rating : 16 A)
 All types are of isolating design, i.e. they are equipped with a disconnecting device. The
disconnection is done using a screwdriver.
 The terminals are also equipped with sockets for quick connection of a test instrument.

The URTK / S-BEN type is used in circuits designed for higher current than 15 Amps or in circuits
carrying current or voltage from the generator measuring transformers.
 The URTK / S –BEN type :
 Dimensions (w x h x d) : 8,2 x 58 x 61mm
 Technical data in accordance with IEC/DIN VDE
 Maximum current rating : 57 A
 Maximum voltage rating : 500 V
 Conductor cross section : 0.5 – 6 mm²
All other circuits use the MTK-P/P or UK 5-MTK-P/P type of terminal.
 The MTK-P/P type :
 Technical data in accordance with IEC/ DIN VDE
 Conductor cross section : 0.2 – 2.5mm²
All other circuits use the MTK-P/P or UK 5-MTK-P/P type of terminal.
 The UK 5-MTK-P/P type :
 Technical data in accordance with IEC/ DIN VDE
 Conductor cross section : 0.2 – 4 mm²

Terminal Block Naming
 The naming code for the terminals is designed to give information concerning general
requirements regarding voltage level and signal types.
 Terminal code contains a “X” , followed by two digits: Xnm e. g. X84

 The digit Xnm is decoded according the following table:
 X0 : AC Power ≥ 1 kV
 X1 : AC Power < 1 kV
 X2 : UPS Power
 X3 : DC Power feeder < 75 VDC
 X4 : DC Power feeder ≥ 75 VDC
 X5 : Frequency converter
 X6 : Control power ≥ 50 VAC, ≥ 75 VDC
 X7 :
 X8 : Control signal < 75 VDC, < 50 VAC
 X9 : Data Communication
 The digit Xnm is decoded according the following tables:

 Terminal side one “1” = Internal connection above or left side of terminal row.
 Terminal side two “2” = External connection under or Right side of terminal row.

 Terminal side “1” = Inside Cubicle.
 Terminal side “2” = Outside Cubicle.
