Subject: Regarding upgradation of Tirupati Division to Group 'A Division from

Group 'B' Division by simultaneously downgradation of Chittoor Divigion
to a Group 'B' Division from Group 'A' Division.

Madam/Sir,

Please refer to Circle Office letters No. EST/TP Dnfupgradation/20l9 dated

16.04.2021on the subject cited above.

2. The proposal for upgradation of Tirupati Division to Group 'A' Division from
Group 'B' Division by simultaneously downgradation of Chittoor Division to a Group
'B' Division from Group 'A' Division has been examined in detail in consultation
with Integrated Finance Wing (IFW)of the Directorate. The proposal has been
approved by the Competent Authority initially for a period of one year subject to
be reviewed mandatorily for revenue generation and improved ECR before
completion of one year. Thus, revenue generation and ECR of the upgraded
Tirupati Division shall be reviewed after one year. If no improvement is noticed,
decision on continuance will be reconsidered in consultation with IFW.

3. In view of above, the Circle is requested to take further necessary action

accordingly. The review before completion of one year is a mandatory condition of
IFW, therefore, the same be strictly adhered to and an Action Taken Report in the
matter furnished to this office.

4. This issues with the concurrence of Integrated Finance Wing vide their Dy.
No. 113/2021'22lFA'CS(P) dated 20.10.2021.
