1. In your own words, explain the significance of the Rizal Law to the present time.

Lets first identify what is Rizal Law?, The Rizal Law is a set of regulations designed to educate
students/young people about our National Hero Dr. Jose Rizal's life, works, and writings, particularly his
books El Filibusterismo and Noli Me Tangere. This is to provide students and future generations with a
thorough history and to help them comprehend how Jose Rizal sacrificed his life for our nation.
Todays generation Rizal Law will give as insight of how Rizal inspired and contributed to the
Philippines for the freedom of our country. I say with this Law it can also inspired as to be more thoughtful
of our nation and on how should we act as the future of Philippines. The best example I can see is when
election comes, we should be acknoledgeable on should we vote for those position to help us lead for the
greatness and future of the Philippines.

2. What do you think were the reasons why the Catholic Church strongly opposed the Rizal Bill?.

Rizal’s work is known for being against the Catholic Church during the Spanish colonial, Catholic
churches sees rizal as being a patriotic more than being religious they see Rizal as a threat for the freedom
of religion, especially for the Catholic Churches who still refuses to acknowledge and read the works and
writing of Rizal especially the two novels El Filibusterismo and Noli Me Tangere.

Unfortunately, his attempts were unsuccessful owing to the limits of 1890s technology. In vitro cultivation

of the malaria parasite was not achievable until 1976, eighty-three years later. That’s makes Antonio Luna
a scientist ahead of his time.
Heneral Antonio Luna also known for being a “Strategic General”, He lead Filipino soldier to defend
the northern part of the Philippines against Americans, his plans is to let American bleed itself for the war
means let American spend more time and money for this war until it can hurt the american’s economy,
Luna himself is a brave soldier, he never abandoned any position even though many of politicians soldier
is against him because of his rudeness.
Until Luna get assassinated until today no one admitted the assassination, sadly heneral luna was a
great leader who can help for the freedom of the Philippines, Heneral Luna contributed and even died trying
to free our country even though filipinos betrayed him in the end. And that’s make Henreal Luna a Filipino
Hero worth studying.

2. Melchora Aquino

She was known as the Mother of the Katipunan because of her significant contributions to the
Katipunan. Andres Bonifacio, the Katipunan's leader, sought her advice on multiple occasions before
making major decisions for the group. During the 1896 Cry of Caloocan, her eldest son's house was the
scene of the first open act of resistance against Spain. Approximately 1,000 Katipuneros gathered to rip up
the cedulas, or community tax certificates, that the Spanish had issued them. Tandang Sora used her house
to hold multiple Katipuneros covert meetings. She would cook for anyone who came to the meetings at this
period. She also used her house to care for a number of Katipuneros who had been injured in combat.
With the age of 84 Mechora Aquino still choose to revolutionize the Philippines against all odds that
she’s old. Her dedication and knowledge to help the soldiers from medication, foods, supply and even let
