Wireless Power Transmission Technology:

Traditional wired power transmission systems usually require lying of

transmission wires between the distributed units and the consumer units.
This produces a lot of constraints as the cost of the system- the cost of the
cables, the losses incurred in the transmission as well as in distribution.
Just imagine, only the resistance of the transmission line results in loss of
about 20-30% of the generated energy.
