Please find the Configurations Guide for Dragon Wave Link, Fully Outdoor Horizon Compact + Series.

A-Accessing the Link through Network/Data Port.

To Access this link, you need to connect PoE and to MW and Laptop to PoE.

1-Power up the PoE.

2-Connect the Data/Network Port of the PoE Unprotected Left side to the ODU Port 1. [Check Below
Diagram on illustration A-1]
3-Connect the Data/Network Port of PoE to the Protected Right Hand Side to the Laptop (No VLAN is
required).
4-Use these IPs.

Laptop with 192.168.10.112 (112 is Just an example).

Mask 255.255.255.0

Access or Telnet 192.168.10.100

Credentials:
User :eneregetic
Password :wireless

NOTE:
If Normal CAT 6 Cable is used, then ensure it is not more than 60 mtrs, else the ODU will show as not
connected and you may not be able even to connect to PoE, or you may get frequent disconnections.
To be able to reach more than 60 mtrs up to 90 mtrs , You must use CAT6 A and CAT6A Connectors.

B-Configuring Licenses to upgrade from Base Licenses 20 Mbps to 200 Mbps or

400 Mbps.
1-Telnet to your Link 192.168.10.100
2-Use Given credentials.
3-Write this command on CLI:

->set dynamic config change [on|

4-Locate the correct Serial Number on the Given Excel sheets and open this File.
5-Write this command ( it is just an example)
->upgrade system licensed speed 20 59bb6459539bf9d1a42f15a8d9d3e63a

6-write this command ( it is just an example)

->set system current speed 20

7-Continue step 4 & 5 sequentially (i.e. for BW of 20 then 40 then 50 Mbps ..etc. until your reach
Maximum License key).

8-Ensure System has successfully accepted Licenses and Upgrade BW values, by writing this command.

->get system speed

Both Current Speed and Licensed Speed Must be same Value.

If all are ok then.

8-Save your configurations by writing below command.

->save mib

9-Do Restart MW ( Soft Reboot) by writing below command.

->reset system

C-Configuring Frequencies and Wireless:-

Log to WEB GUI Interface and follow below:-

1-Choose Radio from Left Hand Side Menu.

2-Choose Frequency after that.
3-From this menu Configure your QAM, Channel BW, and TX /RX Frequencies, and Transmission Power .
4-Choose and Enable Transmitter State and make it ON.
5-Once all are done, choose the Option and Click on “Apply Configurations Immediately “.
6-Ensure to Save all Configurations, by clicking on “Save Config” on the Top Left Hand Side Menu.

If any issues encountered then you may do it through CLI:

Commands are:

1-Telenet the Link.

2- set radio config press Enter
3-Choose your Channel Bandwidth from given Options ( NOTE: You must write same line of your choice).
4-Choose your QAM Value from given Options ( NOTE: You must write same line of your choice).
5-Choose Your frequency from given Options .
6-Write the command to save the configurations. [Check Illustration C-2 ].

->save mib

D-Configuring MGMT In-Band with Transparent Traffic transmission.

Open the GUI Page.

Check Illustration D-1

1-Choose Configurations Menu.

2-Choose Management Menu.
3-Go to IP Menu.
4-Configure IP, Mask, G.W.
4-Enable VLAN Tagging by choosing “ON”.
5-Enter Management VLAN Number.
6-then Click Submit.
7- Ensure to Save all Configurations, by clicking on “Save Config” on the Top Left Hand Side Menu.
8-After that you will be able to access the link by that VLAN on your laptop and new Range of MGMT IPs.
