My Big Brother Is My Hero

If some people say my hero dad or my mommy hero maybe even his parents
are his heroes, But not for me. For me my older brother is my hero. I'm sure you
must be wondering why is that?? Well, I'll tell you why I can say my big brother is
my hero.
I was born as the fifth child of a husband and wife (Sholichul Hadi and
Zubiadah). The couple's first child was ahmad nasrullah, then the couple's second
child was named miftahul choir, then the third was rizqqulah, then the fourth was
ahsanul fikri, and the last one was me. My father's name is Sholichul Hadi, he is a
retired teacher and my mother is Zubaidah, a housewife whom I love very much.
He died in 2004, I still remember when I was 7 years old and it was the first day I
entered elementary school in Palembang.
Shortly before my mother died, she left a will and trust that seemed quite
heavy for my brothers and sisters. The will was made shortly after attending my
first sister's graduation. In which the will said that he required all his children to
pass a minimum education of diploma 3 and he advised that the eldest brother was
fully responsible for the education of his younger siblings when my father and
mother could no longer afford it. At that time, my mother and father sold their
house and were willing to rent a house to pay for my first sister's college tuition.
From there, I felt the struggle and sacrifice for the education of their children so
that they would have a better fate than him.
And sure enough when that day came in 2004 all my family was sad because
I had to let my mother go to heaven first. On the day my mother died, I witnessed
firsthand that my eldest brother swore in front of my mother's body that he would
fight hard to fulfill mother's will and mandate. At that time my family was really in
deep sorrow and the economy was really down. Somehow and how hard my first
brother struggled, he managed to support my second brother until he finished his
3rd diploma in 2008. This was continued by my second brother, like doing a relay
to be responsible for his sister's education, until it was my turn.
Right in 2018, it was my turn to go to college. At that time my first brother
was already working in a privately owned steam power plant, my second brother
was an employee of a state electricity company, my third brother worked as a civil
servant, and my fourth brother worked as an engineer at a power plant company.
steam. They are not just my brothers who only give money for college fees. But
they are also people who always motivate me to be successful. Their role was very
big for me, in that they took over the position of my father and mother as well as
doubled as brother. I never know what obstacles they went through in order to
finance and maintain me until now.
That's why I always considered my older brother to be a hero for my life.
They acted like soldiers who fought for the success of my life in the future.
