USB/485 BUS ADAPTOR INSTRUCTIONS

GENERAL
The USB/485 BUS adaptor converts between the USB protocol and the ProSYS 485
BUS protocol.

Driver Software Installation

1. Connect the USB 485 to the USB port of your computer.
2. Under Windows 98 / 2000 / ME a new hardware will be detected automatically. Upon
a request during the hardware installation insert DISK5088 into the floppy disk drive
and install the USB 485 Driver software into your computer.
3. For full installation instructions refer to the ”Tm951006” file on the installation floppy
disk.

LED Turns ON when:
Link The USB 485 is ready for use
TX Data is being sent from the USB port to the panel
