RECOMMENDED EDITING EQUIPMENT

THE COMPUTER

Many students ask us what we recommend in terms of a computer for quick and easy
editing. We all use Mac computers for our editing, including a Macbook Pro laptop, iMac,
and Mac Pro desktop system. That doesn’t mean PC or Linux computers aren’t an option.
The thing to keep in mind is speed. Currently, we recommend the latest Intel i7 processor
and at least 16 GB of RAM. This should allow you to easily edit HD video on your
computer.
