Comprehensive boardgame on 60 verbs followed by infinitive (VERB + infinitive)
including 350 common verbs

RULES:

Students practice verbs followed by gerunds.

THEY START and finish AT THE TOP BOX – START to– STOP to
They use dice and counters and go around the board – clockwise.
When they land on the word, they make a sentence, using one of the common verbs.

Pre-intermediate students can practise sentences such as:

I can’t AFFORD to buy a new car. (next student repeats the sentence in past simple – I couldn’t afford to buy a car 2 years ago.)

We didn’t ask our neighbour for permission.

They can be also asked to MAKE A SENTENCE USING PARTICULAR TENSE:

e.g.: OK STUDENTS – ONE ROUND WITH PRESENT SIMPLE and the second round with past simple...
e.g.: - use PAST SIMPLE and BEGIN - - - - HE began to cry because his father had hit him.

or ask students to make sentence with third singular - about your family, past perfect, make a funny / sad sentence, about celebrities ...

This game can be very useful for intermediate / advanced students as well –

they ask questions, make negative sentences OR combine 2 infinitives in one complex sentence...
eg: Last winter I tried to make a snowman although I hate to stay out in cold weather.

This game is for JOY, so all verbs can be followed by gerunds. So students concentrate on PRACTISING, not testing...
It is much more fun and IT IS FAST SPEED GAME - as there are many common verbs to choose from. :-D
