Multiplier

𝑚 × 𝑛: Add 𝑚 to itself 𝑛 times – of course, a very slow process

Hand calculation – faster relative to the above
• Start multiplication from right most digit of the multiplier
• Shift left by one position for each digit of the multiplier
• Add the partial products
• Several multipliers follow the same method,
• Multiple adders to add the partial products
