1 Present any gadget of your choice to two different kinds of audience, Group A is 8
unaware of the product and its uses and Group B is familiar with the gadget but not
aware of its usage. How would you write the instructions for the usage of the gadget to
the two groups? What would be the objective or purpose while explaining to the two
groups?
2 You represent an Indian toy company that is negotiating to buy miniature truck wheels froma 8
manufacturing company in-Japan, In your first meeting, you explain that your company
expects fo control the design of the wheels as well as the material that are used to make them.
‘The mannfacturer’s representative looks down and says softly, “Perhaps that will be difficult.”

have brought along fo be signed by both the parties, However, the manufacturer seems to be

‘Mr, Manishankar runs a chain of restaurants named “The Vembed Kitchens.” Mr. Mani 8
Shankar runs around 156restaurants across the country. He intends to conduct a meeting of the
heads of all the 156 restaurants and wants to understand and discuss in detail the functioning
of the restanrants and take constructive steps to enluance the brand image of the vembed
kitchens. Since he is unable to give time for all the 156 heads, he chooses 6 among them to
represent the different regions of the country.Mr. Vasan ~ Southern region representing 26

the Vembed 7 star hotel. He plans to invite Mr. Chaudhry an outside business strategy
consultant, The meeting will start at 9 am and go on till 4 pm, This would also include a
special spread of the Vembinad cuisine for the participants during hunch. The program will
begin with presentations by the representatives of the 6 regions followed by strategic
counselling by Mr. Chandliy.
Prepare a notice and the agenda for the above meeting to be held on the 18" of
