​Job Overview And Responsibility

Well capitalized ed­tech startup seeks one extreleme talented UX/UI Designer to help build the future of education in
Vietnam. You will work directly with the founders to develop our product and build out the engineering team. Startup is
funded, and a potential equity package applies depending on seniority.

At Marathon, we would like to build a dynamic team to solve the many challenges and puzzles that come with our rapidly
evolving product. We’re seeking an experienced UX/UI Designer who has deep passion for education and is ready to work
in a forward­thinking organization that’s always pushing boundaries. 

As UI/UX Designer, you will contribute to the ideation & design phases, shaping the product direction, conducting UX
research and delivering UI design. Your work will involve a lot of end­user­facing, leveraging skills such as problem­
solving, user research, product strategy and UI design.

­ Work collaboratively with founders and other teams such as academic team, business development, customer service,
developers, testers to define product strategies and roadmaps and implement innovative solutions for the product
direction, experience, and visuals.

­ Coordinate, collaborate, communicate and conduct behavioral analysis, user research, task analysis, prototyping,
information architecture design, interaction design, usability testing in an agile methodology.

­ Build storyboards and prototypes to conceptualize designs to accurately convey product ideas, features and action flows.
Communicate with multiple key stakeholders to keep them up to date and bought into your product/design development.

­ Encourage a deep focus and understanding of the needs of our users, and develop and validate innovative solutions
.
Provide graphic design work as and when required

Required Skills and Experience

­ 5+ years relevant UX/UI design experience working in a fast­paced environment.
­ Have experience working with research in support of product prototyping and testing, future visioning and strategy
development.
­ Demonstrate solid experience in user & market research, UX research, wire­framing, good aesthetics sense, backlog
management.
­ Ability to clearly articulate UX/UI decisions and why they are best for a given problem.
­ Experience working in an agile/scrum development process.Preferred Qualifications
­ Passion for education
­ Previous experience in startup environments
­ Self driven, willing to work with uncertainty and ambiguity
