Registering the salaries.

Prepare the payroll for a one employee having a gross salary of 3.000 lei and register the entries.

Gross salary: 3.000 lei

- Employee contribution to social security: 750 lei;

- Employee contribution to health care fund: 300 lei;
- Salary tax = (Gross salary – Contributions to SS – Contribution to HC -Personal deduction) * 10%
= (3.000 – 750 – 300 -195) *10% = 176 lei

Net salary = 1.774 lei

Company’s contribution to Labor Chamber = 2.25%*3,000 lei = 68 lei
