INSTRUCTIONS: Give the distinction between the primary and secondary respondents in your study.

Primary respondents can be described as those respondents that are closest to the needed
information in relation to the research topic. They contain raw information and thus, must be interpreted by
researchers. While secondary respondents are those respondents closely related to primary respondents
as to information that they have. The information that secondary respondents have, has a relation to
information that was obtained from the primary respondents. Secondary respondents often provide details,
interpretation, and synthesis of previously obtained information from primary respondents.
