As a strategy to learn the past and past participle forms of irregular verbs, we suggest that you

fill in the charts below reorganizing the verbs we have included on pages 52, 53 in our
handout. “Regroup” them following a similar “pattern” as stated in each case.

b)* there are many irregular verbs that follow this last pattern. For example, STRIKE-STRUCK-
STRUCK or WRING-WRUNG-WRUNG. Try and find more examples of this pattern.
