ruddy, the pair, aged two and three, earnestly heaved stones about and wrestled with a wooden
wheelbarrow before bounding off for their daily session on the open-air trampoline.
Their childminder, Mary, is planning to open Australia’s first outdoors nursery, a lottery-funded
kindergarten where the children will be taught and entertained in a wood. All day, every day.

Option A
Their unusual uniform was chosen by the local education authority for being the most practical
solution in these circumstances. The children seem to like it and so there are plans to market it and
have it in the shops by the time school starts in September.

their corner of north-east Fife, are about to be pioneers in a nursery education experiment. And it is a

CLASSIFIED JOBS:
We are currently accepting applications for Activities Coordinator on the Peace Boat, an
international non-profit organization that travels throughout the world from Japan on “peace voyages”.
Participants visit different countries and meet local people to promote peace, human rights, and
respect for the environment.
The Coordinator can join Peace Boat participants in all activities on shore. The Coordinator will
interview with us, but it is not necessary to come to Tokyo to do so. All expenses will be covered for
the trip, but the Coordinator is responsible for obtaining a passport and proper immunizations.
Without these, the Coordinator cannot board the ship.
Job requirements: speak some English; ability to prepare students on board for cultural
exchange activities with locals (such as soccer games, mural painting, and tree planting). Preferred
but not necessary: speak some Spanish and Japanese; experience in teaching sports and art.
