 For every 150- 200 children is to 1 pack of Vitameal (2.4 kg).

 Feeding should be at least 60-72 days to see impact to nutritional status to children.
 Feed the Children will provide the Vitameal pack but the other ingredients as stated
above will be the counterpart of the partner organization.
 Based on the sample computation above, you will be needing around 35,400.00 for the
whole 72-days feeding program.
 There are 3 suggested menu (Champorado, Binignit and Arrozcaldo) for the whole
feeding program. It must be cook alternately. There will only be one feeding per day (1
menu/per day). It can be given as snack in the morning or in the afternoon.  So the 72-
day Feeding program will run more than 3 months if the feeding is 5 days per week.
For example:

If you have 150 children who are identified to be at risk of dropping out, or always absent or
under nourished, you will use 1 pack of vitameal in the chosen menu. Kindly refer to the table
above for other ingredients as well as its measurement and sample computation of the needed
budget (red font).

With the sample computation above, 35,400.00 for 72 days with 150 children, this will just cost
Php 3.20/child/meal

As to the mechanics and preparation:

1. Baseline data of children must be available at the start of the feeding. (List of children
who are malnourish or at-risk of dropping out or always absent). There should be
available latest weights of these children.
2. Identify volunteers/ mothers to cook the food. Inventory available utensils for cooking
materials (kaldero nga dagko, lutoan, plato ug kutsara). This should also be discussed how
to provide cooking set (gas and stove or paggatong)
3. Orientation and cooking demo will be done when everything is ready. The volunteers and
the feeding coordinator are requested to attend the orientation.
4. We can have a MOA when all is set.
