Leadership lesson for Individual

Act on your instinct

The biggest disappointment of Netaji with the Congress, or more specifically with Gandhi at the
time, was that all of its members might have begun to turn to the Swaraj idea, but none of them
were prepared to launch some sort of mass action or any other radical action to achieve it.
Believe in the cause
For the sake of defending his country, Netaji faced legal action, multiple arrests, and even exile.
Netaji had unwavering confidence in his vision of Swaraj, no matter how much criticism and
hatred he would face from the other members of Congress, and was prepared to sacrifice his
life for the cause.
Give, in order to get
Netaji was always a wonderful orator. He would appeal to their nascent patriotism when it came
to recruiting men to create his INA, and tell them that the only way they could attain the
independence they so coveted was if they were willing to devote themselves to the nation's
cause.
