MY FAVORITE HOUSE
Hi! My name’s Vicky and I live in London. I like going to my grandma’s house. I call her
Granny. She lives in the countryside in the north-east of England in a small village. Her
house is old and small. It is near the sea. In grandma’s house, there are four rooms. The
living room is small but nice. There’s a sofa, two armchairs, a small table and a fireplace that
is very nice in winter in that room. Granny has got a cat and in the living room there’s a
basket for her. My grandma can play the piano so you can see her old piano in the living
room. And, on the walls there are lots of pictures and photos of nature, too.

There is a big kitchen next to the living room. Granny loves cooking so she has lots of
things in the kitchen such as cooker, fridge, cupboard, and so on.
In her bedroom, there is a wardrobe by the wall. She’s got a big bed and next to it
there’s another one for me. My bed is quite small. On Grandma’s bedside table you can see a
lamp and there’s always a book because Granny reads a lot.
The bathroom is next to the bedroom. Granny hasn’t got any showers but she has a
huge bathtub instead.
As you can see, my grandma’s house isn’t big but it is very friendly and comfortable.
