Personal letter or a friendly letter is a type of letter which concerns about personal matter, and it is
addressed to a person who is known well. Personal letter may help you to maintain and build personal
relationship with a person you know well.

 To inform that the sender wants to make a friend with someone new.
 To reply the letter from a new friend.

1. Definition
 An Invitation Letter is a document that presents a formal request for the presence of an
individual, a group of people or an organization at an event.
 An invitation may be formal or informal.
 Formal invitation letters are written for formal events like graduation ceremonies, or a
business event or party.
 Informal invitation letters are written to friends or family, for events like dinner, parties, or
get-togethers.

2. Social Function of an invitation is to invite an individual, a group of people or an organization to

attend an event.

An annoucement is a statement made to the public or to media whih gives information about
somthing that happenend or that will happen.

2. Social Function:
 to inform the annoucement text in information about the event, job, vacancie, new enrollment,
new admissions, and so on.
