I rarely make handmade things because I am not inherently dextrous, but in my best friend’s birthday, I
decided to give her a gift which I made by myself because little handmade things are her cup of tea.
I spent a lot of time to wonder what should I give her and eventually I decided to make a dozen of
bookmarks which really useful for her whenever she reads book. I’d thought it would be a tough task.
But it turned out that making this gift was actually just a piece of cake. First of all, I found information
about bookmark’s shape and some special styles on the Internet. There were various of results, I was
provided by a lot of forms of bookmark such as traditional paper, corner or metallic form and after 3
hours, I chose traditional paper bookmark. Then I went to specilize shop which sell materials for making
handmade things. I bought a sheet of coloured paper and a color set and I decorated 12 bookmarks by
12 kind of flowers of the year. I was truly surprised by myself when I completed this gift, then I wrapped
it in a lovely box and given it to my best friend. She was really happy when she was recived my gift. She
said that thanks for my bookmarks, she can easy to find the page which she wanna return at a later
date. These handmade bookmarks are great to give out as gifts to friends and relatives. All you need are
a few sheets of paper, some art supplies and your imagination.
