Before Meric fled the Eastern Empire, you could


often find him in the employ of the highest bidder, if
he was not busy with a scam of his own. Meric
never really cared much about the nature of an
assignment as long as the money was good and
the task within his ability to solve.
His opportunistic and less than honorable ways
quickly earned him plenty of enemies and he soon
found himself hunted by those he had either
betrayed or simply stolen from. Soon, fleeing was
the only option left for Meric in order to keep his
head on his shoulders.
Now arrived in the West Marches, Meric is hoping
for a fresh start and new fortunes, however he
cannot shake the feeling that someone is following
him in the shadows.
