My Family

So this is a picture of me and my father. My father is a retired army. He also took part in Liberation
War in 1971 while he was captured by Pakistani Army and were kept in Karachi.

My father is the head our family. He takes all the important decisions on behalf us. As he is very
decipline and much conscious about daily routine my others sibling are afraid of him where, I
Share a special relation with my father. We go for shopping together, watch cricktet matches and
also discuss about our favourite players. He is fond of cricket and watch almost every matches of
Bangladesh cricktet team and also some league like IPL and BPL. He is almost 85 years old yet
stronger than more young people around me. He still does his own household works like cleaning
his shirts to make his bed. And for all this things I am very much proud of my father and I would
like to see myself like him in near future.
There is a saying that a mother is her daughter’s first best friend. Well In my case that is absulotly
truth. My mother is a housewife. She single handedly look after our family. She is the most
humble and kind person I have ever come across. We talk about almost everything that happens
in our day to day life. She doesn’t like to go out much but I insist her to go with me. Sometimes
she agrees but most of the time she denies. For me she is the perfect definition of a housewife.
The way she loves all of her four childrens; she doesn’t think anything else apart from her family.
She spend all day with her works and rest with me .
She cooks very delicious foods for us and sometimes I help her in cooking . Ususally she doesn’t
allow me in the kitchen but often I handle her plates and bowl so that she doesn’t have to move a
lot .
At night, after having her rough day when she goes for sleep I come forward with her medicines
and water.

My elder brother is an art teacher and also a writer. He publishes his book in Ekushey Boi Mela; In
the picture you can see he was reciting one of his poet from his recent publishment.

Growing up with my brothers was actually a blessing. I learnt painting from my elder brother . I
also learnt about computer from my younger brother. Thus I spend lot of my free time with them
watching football matches or going out together. And I became one of them.
Here is the youngest and cutest family member of my family. I spend almost all of my free time
with him. He is my nephew; who admires his aunt a lot. He stays and play in my room most of his
time. Sometime I recite story to him. As he is growing I try to give him some basic alphabets
knowledge. He is not the most obedient kid but he listen to me and loves me.

In the end , I can say for me family is something I can rely on. I start my day with them and I also
end my day with them.It is not only about spending time with them, also I try to fulfill my
resposibility towards my family. I may contribute a little but I really consider myself as a Family
Person.
