1. How can we be more selective in using mobile assisted language learning?

-By paying attention to ratings and comments when we want to install applications.
- Browsing on the internet what are the advantages and disadvantages of using the application
and compare it with what we expect.
-Be a user who is aware of the importance of developing information and comparing the
information we get with trusted sources and sorting out which ones are good and right for us to
use.
2. How to use MALL effectively and efficiently?
a) Only use applications that support your activities.
b) Delete applications that aren’t important because that only burdens mobile devices.
c) Use MALL every day to study, your online business and to find the latest news.
d) Be more selective before installing applications and be careful of scams who want ID cards
or remittances.
3. How can we get accurate information through mobile assisted language learning?
- Through a website that is trusted and can be verified.
- Attend webinars both offline and online to add insight related to mobile-assisted language
learning.
4. What are the advantages of using mobile assisted language learning (MALL)?
The advantages of using MALL are :
-Portability, able to carry and use the mobile device wherever and whenever the cause of the
small size and its weight.
-Individuality, able to access everything through internet browser in the device and customized
for the individual learner.
-Connectivity, the mobile device can be connected to other devices by creating a shared
network.
-Social interactivity, exchanging data and collaboration with another learner.
-Able to use an application such as shopping, GPS to share current location and time, and
looking for videos, online dictionary or something you need in your life.
b. What is the disadvantage of using mobile as another device learning (MALL)?
The disadvantages of using mobile assisted language learning are :
-The mobile device has a small screen and keypad it makes it pretty difficult to use it.
-Limited data storage.
- cost of internet access is pretty expensive on the mobile phone.
-Multimedia and graphics limitations.
c. How does mobile-assisted language learning help in language learning?
The way MALL help in language learning are :
a) Through an application such as learner’s dictionary its help to find the meaning of a word,
podcasts british council to listen English podcast every day and repeat it to improve our
speaking also record our voice and compare it with the native speaker, and using microsoft
office word ,excel or power point to make the task.
b) Game based learning which learning materials are so designed to be integrated with
aspects of physical environment to find new vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, listening
and reading comprehension and spelling.
c) Not affected by place or time as long as there is a connection, so we can learning the
language every day.
