PROBLEMS NEGATIVE EFFECTS

 Carbon Dioxide emissions from Our addiction to electricity by burning
fossil fuels burning power plants power plants does have negative impacts
in our environment because it releases
huge amount of carbon dioxide into the
atmosphere.
 Burning Plastics It is bad for oceans and to our climate.
Knowing Plastics is a petroleum based
material and when it burned it is like the
other fossil fuel. It may release climate
pollution.
 Burning Gasoline for transportation Vehicle emissions from burning gasoline
contain toxic pollutant that may produce
carbon dioxide, a greenhouse gas that
may contribute to global warming.
 Deforestation Cutting of trees can cause climate change,
soil erosion, fewer crops, flooding, and
increase of greenhouse gases in the
atmosphere.
 Garbage When the trash breaks down in landfills, it
releases methane and nitrous oxide
gases. Also, throwing garbage anywhere
may causes floods.
 Oil Drilling Burn-off from the oil drilling industry
impacts the carbon dioxide released into
the atmosphere.
 Disappearance of Coral reefs The disappearance of coral reefs rises sea
temperature is a severe danger for ocean
ecosystems, and many other species in
the oceans that relies to coral reefs for
survival.
 Permafrost The melting of permafrost releases tons of
trapped greenhouses gases which speeds
up to melting permafrost.
 Increase usage of chemical The use of nitrogen rich fertilizers increase
fertilizers the amount of heat cropland can store.
 Volcanic Eruption Volcanoes release large quantities of
carbon dioxide when they erupt.
Volcanoes can have a small effect on
global warming and an eruption causes a
short-term global cooling as ash in the air
reflects greater amounts of solar energy.
