My Analysis:

Which principle of learning was/were most applied?

The principle that was most frequently employed was that learning is an active process,
because the teacher is always ensuring that the pupils respond and react, and the students
are also actively participating in the conversation.

Which principle of learning was least applied? Why was/were the principles not very much applied?
Give instances where this/these principle/s could have been applied.

The first principle was least applied because the teacher did not have any clear learning
objectives of what outcome should the students have.

How did the application of these principles affect learning?

Learning becomes more personal and successful for learners when the principles of
learning as an active process, discovering personal meaning and relevance of ideas, and
cooperation and teamwork are applied. When students actively participate in the learning
process, the information and knowledge they acquire may be stored in long-term memory.
Learning may become more meaningful to pupils if they actively participate in the
learning process by creating ideas from their personal experiences. By producing their
own thoughts, ideas, and perceptions regarding the lecture, students can also uncover
their own particular meaning and importance of ideas.

How did the non-application of these learning principle affect learning?

Non-application of these learning principles affects learning in such a way that it becomes
meaningless and ephemeral in the mind of the learner. If pupils study passively, the
knowledge they get will be less important to them, and the information will only be
transitory. If the students are unable to relate the concepts to their own lives, the material
will become useless to them because they will be unable to use it in real-life situations. If
they can't find their own personal meaning for the material they've obtained, as well as if
they don't communicate and collaborate with others, their learning will be limited.

Do you agree with these principles of learning? Or have you discovered that they are not always
correct?

Yes, I agree with these learning ideas. To make their learning remembered, learning
should be an active process. Their learning can become more meaningful and applicable
to real-life situations when they discover personal significance and relevance of ideas.
Collaboration and cooperation can broaden the scope of knowledge gained. It can also go
beyond what you study in books because collaborating and cooperating can teach you
more than what you can learn from books. You can learn more about life, things that can
be valuable in real life, and things about people, culture, and society through teamwork
and cooperation.

As I watch and view videos on YouTube including teaching and learning utilizing LDM of MELCs in
teaching that employs virtual discussion that were presented and edited by DepEd TV, I can state that
they are highly successful and appealing to the viewers, especially the students that require this
lesson. I also saw that kids are involved in the discussion, sharing their thoughts and understanding of
the topic.
Since we are experiencing a pandemic and beginning our education in a new normal style,
these types of techniques employed by teachers are an amazing concept. This type of modality is a
terrific idea because you get the feel of being in a classroom even though you're at home, and you can
collaborate just like you would in a face-to-face discussion. Different modalities can be utilized
indefinitely and will continue to be employed in future generations.

Interviewing teachers on lesson preparation in limited face-to-face, flexible and distance

learning delivery modes
How do you prepare your lesson in face to face discussion?

Face-to-face learning or discussion has been very exciting to the students as well as the teachers. In
teaching face-to-face us a teacher you should create a plan to anticipate student's anxieties and
understanding. The teacher must have her complete weapon to attack the teaching - learning process,
the teacher must prepare her lesson plan, plan the specific learning activities that suits the ability and
capability of the students. As a teacher I should deal with this preparation because proper planned
lesson in face-to-face engage a meaningful learning.

How do you prepare your lesson in flexible and distance learning delivery modes?
In flexible learning and distance learning I need also to prepare everything from lesson planning to the
delivery of the lesson. The distance learning focuses on the premise that successful learning and
instruction can occur only when both teacher and student feel empowered because this brought a
culture shock to both students and teachers.

What do you think has the least preparation? Why?

Distance learning has the least preparation because you can use just one platform (like Googlemeet) to
deliver all the lesson.

What is the most challenging to be prepared? Why?

Distance learning gave a big challenge in the New Normal Education in both students and teacher
specially that we are facing hard times that pandemic brought.

Between the two preparations, which is more effective?

Face-to-face is still the more effective where the teacher and the student meet in a set place for a set
time, for either one-on-one learning or, most commonly, in group class lessons. Face-to-face learning
is really an effective way to learn knowledge and skills because it often combines different ways of
learning in real set up of teaching-learning process

My Analysis:
Which principle of learning was/were most applied?

As I observed, the presentation of facts, so often introduced through straight lectures,

reduces the importance of class discussion, cooperative learning, and writing exercises
(graded and ungraded). But because of the pandemic we cannot let the teacher be at fault
with this learning principle encountered. This can now signify how her learners react
from the way he teaches, and the way learners enjoy his class. For the learners, skills and
abilities are not one day growth; it is a step by step process.

Which principle of learning was least applied? Why was/were the principles not very much applied?
Give instances where this/these principle/s could have been applied.

Learning is the discovery of personal meaning and relevance of ideas; In this case, the teacher
spent the most of the time explaining and sharing his or her ideas on the subject. The teacher
did the most of the work in class. But since it is pandemic, we can very much understand why
because the teacher doesn’t want to consume the data of his students.

How did the application of these principles affect learning?

The application of the principles generally defined as any instructional method that
engages students in the learning process. Group collaborations may not be present in the
learning process, Active learning is still present because of homework and other
individual activities that engage the learning of the students.

How did the non-application of these learning principle affect learning?

Some principles are neglected with this kind of learning process that leaves student’s
lacking in motivation to learn and some may not absorb the knowledge being given to
them. They may lose interest in learning and cannot practice the concepts that they are
learning. If the students do not feel satisfied or do not have a pleasant learning experience
they may not make any efforts in that direction.

Do you agree with these principles of learning? Or have you discovered that they are not always
correct?

Yes! I agreed. Effective teachers must have instructional methods that have repeatedly
been found inferior to instruction that involves active learning, in which students solve
problems, answer questions, formulate questions of their own, discuss, explain, debate, or
brainstorm during class.

Attending sessions on protocol for classes in the learning modality employed by the school

Every class and school has its own

protocols in place for the learning
modality that is being used in the
classroom. The meeting described above is
our first meeting with my cooperating
teacher, and the other protocols will be
explained to her pupils by my resource
teachers. They reminded their pupils to
obey the do's and don'ts in their online
class as they began their courses. These
are the following:
• They must always maintain order in their
virtual meetings and group conversations.
• Always take part in all discussions.
• If you wished to recite in the Google
meet, press the raise button.
• If you're not being asked to recite, turn
off your microphones.
• If you're not being asked to recite, turn
off your microphones.
• If they are going outside, they should
always wear face masks.
• Parents or students should wear face
masks when distributing modules.
Viewing video-recordings of home-based learning routines

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=glsCLD3-wkY

The diverse approaches that students use to manage their time while learning at home were
evident in the home-based routines that I observed. I've also seen that parents bear a significant
amount of responsibility for assisting their children in learning at home. Having a well-managed time
to learn at home stimulates children to learn with enough time to learn and to turn their time into
productive time each day. Starting a regular job routine is quite beneficial to students since it provides
them with an environment that is practically identical to that of school. Learning at home will enable
children to learn autonomously, and they will be able to put up their best efforts to learn, which will
be beneficial to them.
Home-based school habits, such as waking up early and having their own timetables to follow
throughout the day, will make their work easier and more organized, as well as relieve them of
stressful days. As a result of all of my observations about home-based routines, these will serve as my
foundation as a student teacher in managing my home-based learning routines at home. Despite my
busy schedules, it really helped me to organize and fix my time every day so that I could always have
a productive day.

Commons to teach the competencies in a specific discipline
Every youngster is entitled to a good education. This is reinforced by the Department of
Education's (DepEd) mission to protect and promote every Filipino's right to a quality, equitable,
culture-based, and comprehensive basic education in which students learn in a child-friendly, gender-
sensitive, safe, and motivating environment, and teachers facilitate learning and continuously nurture
each learner.
Open Educational Resources (OERs) were first launched in 2002 as a powerful tool for improving
education quality and access. OERs, by their very nature, save money by repurposing learning
materials. The adoption of OER leads in significant cost savings for students' families, as well as an
impact on their academic performance and completion rates.
OER is extensively used in nations that do not have internet access owing to a variety of reasons,
including armed conflicts, refugees from war zones, geographically distant locations, and those
affected by natural catastrophes. OER is a different approach to leveraging technology to link
separated schools. It makes education more accessible to individuals who live in remote areas or face
difficult circumstances.
Teachers can use OER material to pull just substantial notes or subjects as tools for their students.
Teachers can tailor information to match learners' learning needs and goals because OER presentation
is more flexible.
While OER allows teachers to produce their own materials, it also allows them to have their own
materials improved and enhanced along the way. An OER developer has a spectrum of how a material
changes in ways never envisioned by letting other instructors in the DepEd community to modify it.
There are more valuable aspects to be viewed with more eyes. With additional minds, we can offer
better learning experiences for our students. New parts and exercises can be added and improved,
resulting in a more strong body of work that complements the original. If resources are merely in
print, waiting for a new edition, this type of culture and collaboration is simply not conceivable.
A teacher can reuse, produce, contribute, and contextualize OER by using it. Teachers may create
and build on a range of materials for their own lessons without having to start from scratch, and they
can cooperate with colleagues from all across the county and even the world.

There are numerous
actions that are carried out and
observed on a regular basis.
The activity is beneficial not
only to me in terms of having
a foundation for organizing my
instructions, but it also helps
students engage in collaboration
and collaborate with one
another. The teacher had a
great method for getting

students to be more active throughout the day. Furthermore, the tasks are really tough and exciting
because we had an amazing teacher who taught us from simple to complex only so that we could
learn.

Teachers are planning numerous modalities in taking summative tests, periodical
examinations, or quarterly tests in order to assess students. Students can respond using a link or file
provided by the topic teacher, who will use a variety of platforms such as Google Forms, Gclassroom,
or a PowerPoint presentation. Exams are given based on the lessons that have already been discussed.
It is very important that teachers consider the means on how they are going to assess their students.
Assessment is an important part of the learning process. It is inextricably linked to curriculum
and instruction. Assessment plays a continuing role in influencing instruction, guiding students' next
actions, and assessing progress and success as teachers and students work toward achieving
curriculum outcomes. For classroom assessment, teachers employ a variety of methods and strategies,
adapting them to the assessment objective and needs of individual students.

Maristela Pia S. Taguba/ September 29, 2021/ Every day is a new day. Another positive and
progressive day today. I was able to observed two classes of Mrs. Elaine Furigay of Cagayan National
High School. She is very prepared with her materials and I was enjoying her presentations because of
the animation she uses with it. This is very important because when you use materials for your lesson,
you should able to capture the student’s attention. As a future educator of the new generation, using
different materials should also be something you give importance too, remember our technology
advancement is very fast and knowing how to create or use a powerful learning materials with this
innovative materials, we can say that students will be very interested and would be wanting more
because they are having fun and loving this kind of progression.

School forms are highly significant in the school since they are a very private record and the
foundation for the department to track down all of the information from one student to the next.
Because it is indicated in the job description and mandated by the DepEd, we must prepare DepEd
school forms appropriately, accurately, and legibly. This is what we, as government employees, are
expected to do.
Forms used in schools are considered official documents. It contains important information
such as student grades and teacher reports. That is why it is critical to write it properly, legibly, and
accurately in order to avoid data inaccuracies.
Going over the numerous school forms has taught me that becoming a teacher entails a lot of
paperwork. You double-check that you have all of your students' information and that you have
appropriately recorded ALL of their grades.
