MBTI Vs MSQ
1. Compare and contrast the MBTI scores and MSQ Scores?

Similarities:
1. Both scores have a resemblance in analysis. Both point towards the warm caring and sensitive
nature.
2.it points toward good team abilities and adaptive skills as per the condition.

Differences:
1. MSQ scores do not tell about the social nature of extroversion and introversion which is
specifically highlighted by the MBTI test.
2. MBTI test pointed towards perceiving nature which is in contrast to the critical functioning results
of the MSQ test.
3. MBTI score tells about the over-competitive nature but the MSQ score points towards a people-
oriented approach, which is opposite in personality.

2. What are the areas of similarities and differences as per your assessment of your
personality?
According to me, the difference between my personal assessment of my personality and the MBTI
and MSQ scores is very less. One difference that I can find is that I’m not overly competitive rather I
believe that I’m a person who works hard through competition as a motivator rather my own self
growth and learning. I do not envy what others have and do usually stay satisfied by what I have.
Another thing is that my CLD score of 10 indicates that I choose the comfortable path which I believe
is not true. According to me this is not true rather I believe that I’m a person who is not threatened
by challenge and does the hard work required to over the said challenge diligently without trying to
take shortcuts.

3. What efforts can you make to improve yourself as a person?

ISFPs do what they can to preserve harmony and promote peace. But in order to avoid having my
needs overlooked, I need to express myself openly and honestly, even if what I have to say may be
difficult for others to hear. This can cause strife in the short run, but in the long run, it will help clear
up misunderstandings and erase hurt feelings.
I need to be more expressive to others. I might know the answer to the question but still, I let others
speak. I prefer to listen rather than express my thoughts. I am trying to be more expressive by
sharing my thoughts with others and trying to understand their views.
My adoptive nurturing has intrigued me to take a comfortable route which I need to change. Even
though I can see something wrong in society and though I need to challenge it, sometimes seeing
the complications in the system, I tend to ignore it. I am trying to improve by taking initiative in
student activities.
