TRINITARIAN GOD: None is lesser nor greater than the other
WHO IS THE PERSON OF THE HOLY SPIRIT?
- Another Helper (John 14:16-17)
- Another: As Allos = another of the same kind (not just a force or influence, but a person)
Not as Heteros = another of different kind

DWELLS / RESIDES IN THOSE WHO OBEY (John 20:22; 14:17; Acts 5:32; Rom 8:26)

WORKS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

A. He convicts us of sin, and guides us from wrong to right (Jn 16:8)
v.7 “It is to your advantage when I go” – Jesus
B. He causes new birth (Jn 3:5)
C. He confirms our salvation (Gal 5:25; Rom 8:15-16)
D. He reveals Jesus and the truth (Jn 14:6, 17, 26; Jn 16:13)
E. He gives victory over sin (Rom 8:2)
F. He helps us in prayer (Rom 8:26)
-groanings, deep expression
-spirit to spirit
-speaking in tongues
-imagine the Lord praying IN and FOR us
-faces and names appear while we pray
-prayer life requires submission
G. He changes us – old to new, transform from glory to glory (2 Cor 18)
H. He produces the fruits (Gal 5: 22 – 23)

If empowered, then equipped for spiritual gifts (1Cor 14)

Why do we need to be born again?
