REPENTANCE?

death, but the mind governed by the Spirit

the flesh is hostile to God; it does not
submit to God’s law, nor can it do
so. 8 Those who are in the realm of the
flesh cannot please God.
True repentance is hard to
achieve without the grace
of God.
 Ezekiel 36:24-27  (NIV)

“‘For I will take you out of the nations; I will gather
you from all the countries and bring you back into
your own land. 25 I will sprinkle clean water on you,
and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your
impurities and from all your idols. 26 I will give you a
new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove
from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of
flesh. 27 And I will put my Spirit in you and move you
to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.
I. Repentance requires
“TRUE BROKENNESS”.
 Matthew 21:44 (NIV)

Anyone who falls on this stone

II. Repentance is NOT asking
the Lord for forgiveness with
the intent to sin again.
*We take our “Salvation for
granted”.

* We abuse “Grace”.
 III. Repentance is an honest,
regretful acknowledgement of
sin with commitment to change.
*Most of the times we view
sin as a “failure of
performance” and “fear”.

*We neglect the “relational

aspect” of sinning.
 Psalm 51:4  (NIV)

Against you, you only, have I sinned

and done what is evil in your sight; so

you are right in your verdict
and justified when you judge.
IV. Repentance leads us to
cultivate godliness while
eradicating habits that lead
into sin.
Continue to seek and ask
for “TRUE REPENTACE”
from God!
Repentance is a “GIFT”
from God.
REPENT NOW BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE!
