THE PROMISE
VERSUS
THE FULFILLMENT
LUKE 2: 11
The Savior—yes, the Messiah, the Lord—has
been born today in Bethlehem, the city of
David! 12 And you will recognize him by this
sign: You will find a baby wrapped snugly in
strips of cloth, lying in a manger.”

2 TIMOTHY
16 All Scripture is inspired by God and is
useful to teach us what is true and to make
us realize what is wrong in our lives. It
corrects us when we are wrong and teaches
us to do what is right. 17 God uses it to
prepare and equip his people to do every
good work.

GALATIANS 3
10 But those who depend on the law to make them right
with God are under his curse, for the Scriptures say,
“Cursed is everyone who does not observe and obey all
the commands that are written in God’s Book of the
Law.”* 11 So it is clear that no one can be made right
with God by trying to keep the law. For the Scriptures
say, “It is through faith that a righteous person has life.”
