Currently in Arica´s fairs and in different sectors where fruits are sold, there is an opportunity to
get fruits like tomatoes at a much cheaper price than in the market. This mainly happens because
people are not able to fully sell all the fruit they had planned for that day. At the end of the day, people
sell this fruit cheaper or even give it away because it no longer serves them and they have to go home.
At the end of the day, people sell this fruit cheaper or even give it away because it no longer serves
them and they have to go home. the most leftover fruit at that time is the tomato, leaving an opportunity
to create a 100% tomato sauce made in Arica, at a low cost and supporting local Sellers.
The tomato is chosen because it is the easiest fruit to work with, as well as being the cheapest and the
one with which the city is most identified. The tomato sauce will be homemade and packed in
ecological containers. The main strength for the marketing of this product would be the economic price
and the proximity that it would have with the city as it is made with fruit from Arica. So creating a
connection with the region is the most important thing.

CCU is a Chilean company of drinkable that has properties in Chile, Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia,
Paraguay y Uruguay. This company was founded in 1908, currently is part of Inversiones y Rentas
S.A., its corporate building is located in the financial sector of Sanhattan, in Santiago de Chile.
The origin of CCU's centennial tradition dates back to 1850, when Joaquín Plagemann founded the first
beer factory in Chile in Valparaíso. 1889 arrives and that first Valparaiso brewery merges with the
"Limache Beer Factory", giving rise to the "National Beer Factory", which then broadens its horizons
by acquiring the "Gubler and Cousiño Beer and Ice Factory"
In January 1902, the "National Beer Factory" became a public limited company under the name of
"United Breweries Company", a company inheriting the experience, culture, knowledge, work
mystique, infrastructure and technologies used by their noble ancestors.
In the nineties, this spirit crossed the borders to infect the beer businesses in Argentina and Croatia.
With the acquisition of Viña San Pedro S.A. it reaches more than fifty countries that share its wines on
the five continents.
Thus, with the arrival of 2003, CCU celebrates more than 150 years of tradition. Currently it is a
Chilean multinational mustbestibles, which expanded its trajectory beyond the beer business, making
itself present with its beers, soft drinks, mineral waters, nectars, wines and piscos in all the possible
instances of encounter within the family and with friends.
CU is the leading producer of beverage products in Chile, therefore it provides more confidence to the
consumer due to its experience and ranks third in the beer market in Argentina, which gives it a solid
base of operation for its complementary businesses in other segments. and countries, has a diversity of
products, had the financial capacity, by its partners. Its main weakness is not having brands that are the
"top of mind" of consumers.
CCU seeks to promote and accelerate its transformation, in the context of a challenging, agile and
changing world, in order to boost its growth and profitability, ensuring the sustainability of the
business. Staying one of the most important brands at the national level is one of the main objectives,
but achieving it at an international level is one of its future prospects.
