It is a song inspired by a
more than century-old play. Anyone can tell that the lyrics of the song telltale of the story/film Peter
Pan. There are many more intertexuality found on both the lyrics and music video of the song. The
floating chairs usually came from the inspired play.”I am a Lost Boy from Neverland”, Neverland is a
fictional island featured in the works of J. M. Barrie and those based on them. It is an imaginary faraway
place where Peter Pan, Tinker Bell, Captain Hook, the Lost Boys, and some other mythical beings and
creatures live. “He said Peter Pan that's what they call me”, Peter Pan is the main character in the play.
He is a boy who is special for two reasons: He can fly, and he will never grow old. He will always be a
boy. Neverland is Peter’s home. "Peter Pan, Tinker Bell, Wendy darlin.Even Captain Hook you are my
perfect story book”, are famous story books of all time. Wendy Moira Angela Darling is a fictional
character and one of the main protagonists of the 1904 play and 1911 novel Peter and Wendy by J. M.
Barrie, as well as in most adaptations in other media. Tinker bell id a fairy character created by J. M.
Barrie in his 1904 play Peter Pan, or The Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up. Captain James Hook is a fictional
character, the main antagonist of J. M. Barrie's 1904 play Peter Pan; or, the Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up
and its various adaptations, in which he is Peter Pan's archenemy. “He sprinkled me in pixie dust and
told me to believe’”, Pixie Dust is a magical golden glitter-like powder that grants the abilities of flight.
Many think that flight is fueled by "happy thoughts", and this idea has been used in the Peter Pan
movies and Hook, but in reality Peter Pan was actually joking with Wendy, John, and Michael Darling
when he told them to think happy thoughts.
