Part list information for none ProSteel objects

Document objectives

None ProSteel Objects such as Microstation solids or Autocad volume bodies can still be used for ProSteel features like part
lists and detail center. This document explains how to add part list information to such objects.

Adding Special Parts Properties

The picture shows an Autocad volume body, a glass holder, without ProSteel properties yet.

Adding ProSteel special part properties can be done via the menu ProStructures/Others/Create Partlist Element

or the toolbar partlist and export.

After selecting the volume body the dialog ProSteel properties appears.

The equal part detection doing the positioning is based on this information. Here all data that should later be displayed in part
lists such as size, item number and weight shall be entered.

Positioning for special parts

Before positioning check the settings. Others must be checked.

After the positioning the data fields for position number and total count should be updated.

Now the object is reported in ProSteel part lists.
