THIRD DAY OF SECOND VIRTUAL IN-SERVICE TRAINING

SCHOOL YEAR 2021-2022

It takes a village to educate a child, and it takes a few to influence others to make a
difference. We’ve been in this ship for almost two years now, and yet, we’re far from it. Each
year is another milestone that we have to overcome. We keep on sailing in the ocean’s vastness,
knowledge of possibilities. Though we’ve been in this rough battle for survival, this doesn’t
change the fact that education still prevails because experts are finding ways just to ensure the
delivery of learning amidst threat.
The continuous discussion about different digital platforms that can be utilized
during classes gives us ample choices of learning materials that are suited in our class to have
an innovative and meaningful learning.
The Interactive PowerPoint Plugins & Microsoft Windows Plugin for 21 st Century
Teacher has been introduced to us by our innovative speaker Ma’am Ma. Remalyne Cruz and
Mr. Glenn Hurano. In this session, we were acquainted that we can utilize the said program
differently to have easy access to learning. The more we seek for variety of learning materials,
the more complexity we may encounter. Mr. Marco Paolo Victoriano, introduces us the
Microsoft Office 365 for Productivity –Mail Merge to address the said complexity. In addition,
Professional Development Program with Microsoft was tackled by another Ed Tech Specialists,
Mr. Mark Anthony Jamisal and Ma’am Grace Co for better understanding.
Subsequently, Game-Based Learning Using Minecraft Education Edition was also
introduced by Ma’am Rubilyn Pastrano, Glenny Laping and Glenah Taguibao. This was
introduced during our First Virtual In-Service Training last March 2021 just like the others
who were mentioned in this webinar series but with updated version.
Lastly, Ma’am Joy G. Salazar, introduced the “Mobile Apps for Teachers”. This
was also relevant in today’s demand since using Smartphone is more accessible specially in
remote areas than laptops.
One cannot tell the difference of something unless tried and experienced, just like one
cannot tell the relevance of the different digital platforms in class if it is not used or utilized.
