PORTFOLIO OUTPUT NO.17 REFLECTION ON PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP
Family means having someone to love you unconditionally in spite of you and your shortcomings.
My family is loving and caring. I have fond memories of growing up with love and compassion. When I am
with my family, I have the feeling of completeness and security. Sometimes we argue but at the end we try to
fix it or forgive each other. My family helps me when I had difficulty doing my work. Friends make a great
influence and enrich us.
My friends are supportive. We share our problems that we cannot share with our parents. We
understand each other's points of view and emotions. We also assist one another in difficult life situations.
Relationship that is strong and healthy are so important because the more we are close to each other
and connected to the people we love, the happier we feel and the more personal satisfaction we have in our
lives. Relationship show us how to love and to be love as well
I intend to keep the good relationships strong and healthy by having good communication, being
supportive, respectful to each decision, spending time together, being honest and to show love to each other.
ACTIVITY 2: LETTER FROM MOM
1. The letter described a mother's relationship with her daughter, who seems to have difficulty communicating
with and expressing herself to her mother.
2. Shane and her mother are the people involved in the relationship. Her mother is the kind of mother who loves
her daughter but is unable to express it adequately. Shane's mother described her as someone who is often
lonely and sad. She is also self-conscious about herself and what others think about her.
3. The mother portrays a mother who wishes for her daughter to not feel alone and would realize that she has
made a mistake. Shane portrays a daughter who hides her dilemma from her mother and does not seem to be
very good at interacting and voicing her own feelings to her.
4. No. Because they lack of proper communication. They also do not express their selves to each other that is
why they do not know what the other person really feels or think.
5. Yes, I accept that this type of relationship can be strengthened further. I assume they can also recognize and
correct their errors and shortcomings in terms of engaging with one another. They should also speak to each
other and discuss how they will be able to interact more freely and easily in the future.
6.
7. The mother wrote the letter to her daughter in order to influence her daughter's behaviour. Life is cruel that
she tried so hard to be a decent mother to her daughter that she is a monster in her daughter's eyes, but she
always has a reckless daughter.
PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT | SHAHARMIE GARCIA

8. The Mom write that nobody understands her daughter because she wants her daughter to realize that no one
can understand her daughter but her alone. No because a mother is one of the people who understand her
children. She is always there a shoulder who can cry on.
9. The mom describes her as a lazy daughter.
10. The daughter is obsessed with boys; maybe the girl has a crush, but she is afraid of him. The daughter may
like the child, but as a girl, she is afraid to show her feelings. The girl is afraid to give signals and is shy to show
her feelings.
11. It indicates that her daughter is still in her childhood. Her daughter's life is meaningless, which means she
has no direction. She refers to her daughter as a "small adult" because she cannot think like an adult and does
not believe her daughter can understand what she is saying.
12. The mother wishes for her daughter to behave like an adult and comprehend the realities of life. Her mother
wishes for her daughter to communicate freely with her. Despite her hectic schedule, she wishes to be involved
in her daughter's life. She wishes to protect her daughter from the heartbreaks of life, such as disappointment,
suffering, frustration, confusion, and sadness. She also wants to remind her daughter that the life she creates for
herself today will have an impact on the quality of his life in the future.
13. The mother stated in her letter that they are more than just friends because she is older than her daughter,
has power over her, and provides all that her daughter needs.
14. Yes.
15. It means that her daughter should not depend on friendship; instead, she should prepare herself for things
that will help her improve.
16. The daughter is having fun by herself; she has a friend, but her life revolves entirely around social media,
which is why her mother labels her as a hermit. A hermit is someone who lives alone. Solitude refers to the state
of being alone or alone.
17. The mother wants her daughter to be responsible in life.
18. I think the mother was sad when she wrote the letter because she couldn't speak to her daughter directly and
was likely rejected by her daughter.
19. The mother writes the details because she wants her daughter to be able to express herself freely.
20. Yes, I agree with the mother because she says that when you love someone, you also have to put up with
their cruel actions and angry words.
21.
22. The Mom promised her daughter that she would never be alone even life gets tough and crazy. The Mom’s
request to her daughter is that she will keep in mind what she wrote to her and to kinder to her.
