Question (1)
1. Which is the predictor and which is the outcome variable?

The predictor is an independent variable and the outcome variable is a dependent

variable.

2. What is the proportion of variance that can be explained by this model?

Variance in Y is the proportion of variance that can be explained by this model.

3. Is the overall model significant or not?

The overall model is significant.

4. Does the predictor significantly predict the outcome variable?

The predictor does not significantly predict the outcome variable.

5. Please report the result of the simple regression analysis in a paragraph.

The result is significant and it is good as long as it is significant.

Question (2)
The value of t is good enough, and P values are smaller than o.o5.
So, the two predictors are significant.
Moreover, F value is high enough and the significance is smaller than 0.05.
As a result, the model is significant and it is good as long as it is significant.
